The installation explores the notion of perceiving the data that we daily send and receive on the world wide web. A programmed computer, makes perpetual calls on random servers. The synthetic sound is being created real time by the sonification of the packets received and sent and is mixed with a recording of Marshall McLuhan’s interview which took place in 1965. In the recording, McLuhan talks about the idea of world connectivity.
